![]() CLS 2005 was the first international luxury summit that focused comprehensively on the Chinese luxury market, taking “Refining Luxury” as its theme and providing a platform for networking, learning and discussion among professionals. The Top Brand China Summit kicked off as a tentative millionaire fair, leading a great many luxury brand companies to gather together for cooperation and consultation.
The summit took “Vying for the emerging & lucrative China luxury market” as its theme. With the establishment of commercial circles in T1 cities of China, the world’s top brand companies started to gradually work out their business plans, set their strategies aiming at the Chinese market, and open luxury brand flag shops one after another. One of the key words for the year of 2006 was: Luxury goods have rushed in! With “Opportunities & challenges co-existing on the Chinese luxury market” as its theme, the summit focused on marketing strategies of luxury brands to find their way into the Chinese market, with an attendance of more than 400 participants. While, what merited concern was a great number of the world’s second-tier brands were taking their share of the Chinese market. An open state of mind and a strong determination of rapid expansion pervaded among the attendees of the summit.
