Denis Morisset (ESSEC MBA 1979) worked for more than 20 years in the
Fashion and Luxury Industry with COO and CEO positions for Polo Ralph
Lauren, Pierre Balmain and Giorgio Armani
In May 2004, he became an independent consultant for the Luxury Industry,
creating his own consulting company "Studeo" Luxury Consulting.
In September 2004, he joined ESSEC Business, as Professional Faculty
and Executive Director of ESSEC MBA in "International Luxury
Brand Management ".
His areas of expertise and research are "Luxury Brand management",
"Profitability levels and critical mass in the Luxury Industry",
" Distribution, Retailing and Licensing strategies in the Luxury
Industry" with a particular focus on emerging markets.
He has made or participated to various conferences in Brazil, Russia,
India but mostly China. In Beijing and Shanghai, he also delivered
lectures or classes at CEIBS and Fudan University in Shanghai and
initiated come consulting activity in mainland China Luxury Industry.
