Built on the ringing success of the first annual event in 2005,
the 2nd annual China Luxury Summit 2006 capitalized the success in
a greater scale with a higher starting point to view the impact of
the China luxury market in the international arena and also secured
its position as the unmissed annual occasion for the luxury industry
professionals to exchange their views, discuss the common concerns
and interests, share the spectacular insights and network for more
opportunities in the most potential market for luxury.
The 2nd annual event accommodated more than 250 guests from the
global luxury sectors and related industries in Shanghai for the
highest-caliber luxury industry summit with an international point
of view deliberating on the recipe for success for the promising
China market.
Around 30 industry leaders presented and shared their strategic
insights into the common concerns and interests for the fast growing
China's luxury market during the two-day event covering the strategic
corporate planning, marketing promotion, brand awareness strengthening,
retailing environment, consumer behavior insights, luxury hospitality,
anti-counterfeiting, balance between volume and exclusivity, new
luxury market, human resource concerns and luxury brand management
through keynote speeches, interactive panel discussions and featured
workshops.
Besides the strategic thinking we embraced for this annual gathering,
we also held various glamorous events to cater our distinguished
guests including the Exclusive Welcoming Gala Dinner on Nov 1st
night in Hilton and Networking Cocktail Party on Nov 2nd night in
Bar Rouge of Bund 18. In the courtesy of Mr. Tom Murry, the President
and COO of Calvin Klein, all of our guests were also invited to
"The World of Calvin Klein", one of the biggest party of its kind
on Nov 3rd night.
Through two years' consecutive efforts and hard work, we've also
strengthened the leadership of the China Luxury Summit as the highest-profile
luxury industry event for China market with the kind supports from
various parties. We will keep improving to make this annual convention
